🌿✨ Another lovely week of adventures! ✨🌿

We’ve had such a busy and enjoyable week, filled with lots of fun, fresh air, exploring and learning! 🥰

🌳 We enjoyed a lovely trip to Gretna Park, making the most of the outdoors and having plenty of opportunities to explore and play.

🥾 We’ve also enjoyed some lovely walks with our friends, chatting, discovering what’s around us and enjoying the autumn weather.

🔢🍂 Numbers and counting have been a big part of our week too! We’ve been exploring numbers using conkers, counting them, comparing amounts and having lots of fun learning through play.

🐰🌿 A visit to the garden centre was another favourite! The children absolutely love seeing all the animals, and this time they were very excited to spot the Christmas decorations appearing too! 🎄👀

🚓👮‍♀️ To finish off our week, we had a very special visit from our community police officers. The children loved getting to see inside the police car, pressing the buttons and having a chat about what the police do and how they help to keep us safe. Such a fantastic hands-on experience! ❤️

It’s been a wonderful week full of little adventures, new experiences and lots of opportunities to learn through play. 🌟

🍂 Autumn Adventures & Lots of Learning! 🍂

We’ve had such a busy and fun-filled time recently, making the most of the autumn season and enjoying lots of adventures together! 🌳🍁

🍂 We’ve been detecting autumn, noticing the changing colours, collecting leaves and talking about the signs of the new season.

🪨 We enjoyed a trip to the river, where we collected stones and explored the environment around us.

🎣 We got creative and made our own fishing rods, followed by lots of imaginative play and fun!

🌿 We had a lovely time with our friends at GG’s shared garden, where we started building our very own bug hotel 🐞🐜. We talked about what bugs might like to live in and why they are important to our gardens.

🔥 While at the garden, we also had a chat about fire safety before enjoying the exciting experience of toasting marshmallows. We talked about staying safe around fire and listening carefully to the grown-ups.

🌲 We’ve also enjoyed Forest School, getting stuck into outdoor learning, exploring nature and building confidence through play.

🏘️ A trip to Tiny Town gave us lots of opportunities for imaginative role play, creativity and socialising with our friends.

🌱 We’ve been busy planting and learning about how things grow, as well as collecting lots of lovely conkers along the way! 🌰

It’s been wonderful watching the children learn, explore, get messy, use their imaginations and have fun together. ❤️

🦋🌸 What have we been getting up to lately? 🌸🦋

We’ve been having lots of fun at playgroups, making new friends, playing together and building our confidence. We’ve also been practising our counting and learning to recognise numbers through fun activities. 🔢😊

We’ve enjoyed walks to the library too, where we spotted lots of beautiful butterflies! 🦋 This inspired us to make our own colourful butterfly pictures. 🎨

We’ve also been enjoying time with friends in the garden, where we planted some lovely colourful flowers and learnt about what plants need to grow, such as water, sunlight and lots of care. 🌱🌼

It’s been lovely learning through play, exploring nature and spending time with our friends. 💕

Now we’re looking forward to autumn and all the changes it brings — crunchy leaves, different colours, cooler days and lots more opportunities to explore! 🍂🍁🧡

🌿 A lovely week of learning, exploring & having fun! 🌈

We’ve had such a busy and fun-filled week here! 🥰

🍓 We’ve been picking lots of lovely fruit and even got creative with our blackberries, using them to paint and make some beautiful artwork. 🎨🫐

🌳 We’ve enjoyed plenty of fresh air with walks and trips to the park, making the most of the sunshine and having lots of fun with our friends.

🪁 We also had a go at flying kites — lots of running, laughter and a few attempts at getting those kites up in the air! 😄

🏘️ To finish off the week, we visited Tiny Town, which was a huge hit! The children absolutely loved getting involved in the different role-play activities, using their imaginations and pretending to be grown-ups in their own little town. 👩‍⚕️👨‍🍳🚒

🌿 What a busy couple of weeks we’ve had! 🌿

We’ve been making the most of the last part of the school holidays with lots of fun, fresh air and adventures! 🐸🌳

We’ve enjoyed lovely forest walks, where we even discovered some tiny mini frogs 🐸, and plenty of trips to the park to play and have fun with our friends. 🛝☀️

We’ve also had a little bit of change over the last couple of weeks. It was sadly time to say goodbye to our lovely Esme 💕, but we’ve had a very warm welcome for Sully, who has settled in so nicely! 🥰

As the school holidays come to an end, we’re also starting to get back into our usual routines and looking forward to seeing what the new term brings! 📚✨

Last week we had another fun-filled week together! We enjoyed visits to several different parks, where the children explored open spaces, climbed, ran, and played. We also spent time exploring the forests, encouraging curiosity about nature while helping to develop their confidence, physical skills, balance, coordination, and understanding of the world around them.

We had another lovely trip to Kirkcudbright for some crabbing, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. It was a great opportunity to learn about sea life, practise patience, and work together. We also enjoyed some baking, where the children developed their measuring, mixing, counting, and turn-taking skills while having lots of fun.

Throughout the week, we continued to learn through play, encouraging problem-solving, communication, creativity, and independence in our daily activities.

This week was also a bittersweet one as we said goodbye to Callum, who is off to start school. We are so proud of him and all he has achieved during his time with us. We wish him the very best of luck on his new adventure. We will all miss him very much, but we know he will do brilliantly!

We’ve had another lovely week full of fun and learning!

This week we enjoyed a trip to Dalscone, visited the pet shop and explored a fantastic park in Gretna, where the children developed their confidence, physical skills and enjoyed playing together.

We got creative with painting and had lots of fun with messy jelly play, encouraging sensory exploration and imagination. We also learned about vegetables by digging them up from the garden and tasting them, helping the children understand where food comes from and encouraging them to try new foods.

To finish the week, we visited Gracefield Arts Centre for the Dog’s Life workshop, where the children enjoyed exploring the artwork and taking part in the activities.

Another wonderful week of learning through play, laughter and making happy memories together!

🌞 We’ve been making the most of the summer holidays and enjoying every moment together! ☀️

We’ve had lots of fun spending time with friends, exploring the outdoors, and learning new skills along the way. From trying our hand at fishing 🎣 and crabbing 🦀 to discovering more about nature and the wonderful wildlife around us, every day has been a new adventure.

The children have loved exploring, asking questions, building confidence, and creating special memories together. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the holidays have in store!

🌞 Keeping Cool and Learning Through the Heatwave! 🌞
What a wonderful couple of weeks we’ve had, despite the hot weather! We’ve been making the most of the sunshine while keeping cool, staying hydrated, and finding lots of fun ways to learn and play.
The children have been busy practising their numbers, learning to share, and enjoying lots of play with their friends. We’ve also had some lovely outings, including a visit to the garden centre and plenty of fun at soft play.
One of the highlights was an excellent morning with Stephanie from Childsmile, where the children learned all about keeping their teeth healthy, the importance of brushing properly, and how to look after their smiles. They were so engaged and loved taking part!
We also shared a very special, but emotional, moment as we said goodbye and wished the very best of luck to Jayme, who will be starting school after the summer holidays. We are so proud of everything Jayme has achieved and know they will have an amazing new adventure ahead. We will all miss you and can’t wait to hear how you’re getting on! 💙🎒
It’s been fantastic to see everyone learning, laughing, and making wonderful memories together. Here’s to many more adventures ⚡️☀️⛈️🌼🦷💛
