Lizzie's Childminding Service I'm a registered childminder who provides mainly outdoor/nature based experiences 😊

My objective is to provide a range of activities that will keep the children interested and stimulated, but also keep a routine that will become familiar to the children. I aim to provide activities such as art and crafts, story telling and nursery rhymes, creative and imaginative play, indoor and outdoor play. I will adjust planned activities according to the age and interests of each child and w

ill encourage and praise to help build their confidence and self esteem. I will communicate clearly with parents and carers, in advance of the child's first day, to find out their interests, what comforts them, so that I can make the move from home to a child minding environment as natural as possible. I understand how difficult it can be for parents to leave their child with a childminder and return to work. I will therefore work with you to ensure your child is settled and that you are happy with the care I am to provide.

Terrific Twos Entitlement - have you discovered the big benefits of Early Learning and Childcare?

The really good bit is around a quarter of 2 year olds are entitled to up to 1140 hours of subsidised childcare.

This is free to you, funded by the Scottish Government and local authorities like us. That works out at about 30 hours a week if you use it during school term-time, or around 22 hours a week if you use it all year round. Another fantastic day Arbigland House and Gardens ❤️
This time we started doing the kids trail where you find boxes and find answers to clues to get a number for the end boxes code. Unfortunately we got side tracked with the beach and sea so will need to return to finish it (not that we need an excuse) 😉🤣🥰

We visited the exhibition at Gracefield Arts Centre A dogs Life. All the children really enjoyed it 😊🐶❤️ there is lots for children to explore and engage in.
If you haven't been I'd definitely recommend for all the family ❤️
