One of my favourite Composers.

Today, we celebrate the masterful French composer Claude Debussy 🎉

Born on this day in 1862, Debussy is well known for being an innovator whose musical style and compositions paved the way for other 20th century composers.

On Debussy, fellow composer Ernest Bloch said that “Debussy is like a painter who looks at his canvas to see what more he can take out” speaking on his innovative compositional style.

I am now taking booking for online Piano lessons to start in September .

From 10 years upwards although these days I teach more adults from beginners to more experienced pianists. Flexibilty with times and days.

My lessons are all online and my set up has three cameras showing various angles for me to demonstrate. Over the keyboard, side view of the piano keys and side view of me.

No extra things required, just a laptop/ipad or tablet you can position to show a side view of yourself at the piano/keyboard. An ironing table is a good height .

I use Zoom and you need to get “Original sounds for Musicians “ in the audio setting and you are ready to go.

10 year olds to 90, beginners to advanced. Flexible times and lessons are tailored to your interests.

This is so true. So many people are so concerned about the notes and only consider a wrong note is a mistake. The most important thing is maintaining the pulse and then the music will sound like …….music. Good tips here.
