Terrific Twos Entitlement - have you discovered the big benefits of Early Learning and Childcare?

The really good bit is around a quarter of 2 year olds are entitled to up to 1140 hours of subsidised childcare.

This is free to you, funded by the Scottish Government and local authorities like us. That works out at about 30 hours a week if you use it during school term-time, or around 22 hours a week if you use it all year round. Looking for something to do for both children and adults during school holidays….

I wanted to share this amazing creative space for children and adults in Dalbeattie!! Dalbeattie Wood 🫶 My daughter and I are slightly ashamed to say that although we live in Dalbeattie, we had not explored this unique shop which has now been established for 2 seasons. Our chosen wood craft on this occasion; a flying wooden bird 🦅 and a dancing teddy bear. 🧸 Edward and Sam (owners) helped us with guidance and practical help in using tools and following the instructions to build our models. We have an opportunity for a Full Time (Permanent) Nursery Practitioner position within our busy 0-3yrs setting. (We may consider two part time candidates)

We are looking for someone who is extremely nurturing, with a passion for supporting our youngest babies/children, by providing the very best in care and learning experiences.

You will either be qualified to SVQ 3/ HNC level in Childcare & Education or equivalent or be willing to undertake a suitable qualification. You must have previous childcare experience within early years. Update PVG checks and SSSC registration will be required for this role.
