We've been experimenting with chalk pastels and taking inspiration from Scottish artist, Steven Brown, to create some beautiful bird pictures at our drawing table.

Some of the children enjoyed using the pastels to create an owl, penguin or duck shape and others preferred to use them on their side creating a more abstract look.
