NWCC Parent Council Notice Board

Just a wee reminder of this weeks AGM for NWCC,

The survey that was sent out before the holidays indicated that the majority of votes wanted 2 separate Parent Councils for primary and high school, so that is the hopes for this upcoming year,

BUT if no parents or carers turn up to these meetings and there is no support, then there will BE NO PARENT COUNCIL,

Which is a shame as they PC do a lot for the kids in the school and support alot of the activities that have been done within the school since the school opened, its not all meetings etc,

Theres the fun side, seeing the kids faces when you donate to their fundraising, helping towards leavers events and hoodies, raising funds to help with activities within the school, purchasing equipment etc to help with their learning, and towards the parties and disco's,

This cant be done without the support of you guys,

We would like to thank-you all for your feedback on the survey. Moving forward we will be going ahead with two parent councils. With this in mind we have set up dates for AGM for each. Primary will be 8th October 6pm for a 6:15pm start. Secondary will be 9th October 6pm for a 6:15pm start.
So far the parent council has been very low in numbers, if we are unable to encourage enough interest going forward there will be no parent council which would be a shame as this is for the benefit of al the children within the school.

Family Fun Day this Saturday!

This event has been organised by a parent from our school and we are delighted that he will be splitting the funds raised between NWCC Primary and Little Wonderland Nursery💜

It's been a pleasure working with our local school North West Community Campus Celebrating Success for this year's P7 leavers hoodies. Its been great to see the variety the children have chosen with colour, name and name location. We hope you all enjoy the rest of P7 and enjoy High School!

Following out hugely competitive prom competition in 2023, we are offering the chance for 1 school to win their p7 prom for 2024 for FREE.
Last year out of 49 schools who entered, out lucky winners were Ormiston Primary.

For the chance to win in 2024, we will ask you to comment on THIS POST ONLY, the school name you would like to win.
