Medication Tip: This one surprises a lot of carers. 💊

Crushing a tablet can seem like a simple solution but for some medications, it can release the full dose at once or make it completely ineffective. When in doubt, always check with a pharmacist first. It takes two minutes and could prevent a serious incident.

There's still time to submit your application to the 2026-27 Voluntary Sector Development Fund (VSDF).

The VSDF helps voluntary sector employers support staff to gain qualifications for SSSC registration.

Funding is available for eligible adult social care workers in care at home, housing support and care home services, with small and medium-sized charities particularly encouraged to apply.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS MICHELLE! 🎉

We are delighted to share that our team member Michelle has successfully completed her SVQ Level 2! 💚

Michelle says she feels “absolutely amazing” to have completed her qualification. There were times throughout her SVQ journey when she felt she might not get to the finish line, which makes this achievement even more special.

Michelle would like to thank her SVQ Assessor, Helen from CTC Care Training & Consultancy CIC, who guided and supported her throughout, as well as the management team for their continued encouragement and support.

Completing an SVQ while working and supporting others takes commitment, determination and hard work, and Michelle should be incredibly proud of what she has achieved.
