✨ Introducing… our brand-new Little Rubies Outdoor Area! ✨

With the harsher weather on its way we wanted to create a space where the children can still enjoy being outdoors while staying safe, warm and dry 🌿☔️

Our new outdoor area gives the children the best of both worlds — fresh air, outdoor play and lots of opportunities to explore whatever the weather! 🌦️

Although the space will mainly be enjoyed by our Little Rubies, it can also be enjoyed by all of our children 💕

We can’t wait to get it all decorated and add those special touches! 💎

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised childcare qualification. As our Modern Apprentice, you’ll be supported by our experienced team as you develop the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career in early years education.

You will work with children aged 0–5 years supporting their care, learning, and development across the nursery.

Your Responsibilities

🩷 Help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
🩵 Support experienced practitioners in planning and delivering fun & engaging activities
🩷 Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
🩵 Observe children’s learning and development with support from your mentor
🩷 Assist with daily routines including play, meals, and care needs
🩵 Work as part of our friendly team to maintain high standards of care and learning

What We’re Looking For

✨ A genuine passion for working with young children
✨ A positive attitude and willingness to learn
✨ Good communication and teamwork skills
✨ Reliable, caring and enthusiastic
✨ No previous childcare qualification is required—full training will be provided as part of your apprenticeship

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a childcare setting and a genuine passion for early childhood education. While a Level 3 qualification in childcare is preferred, it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children mainly aged 0-2 years but occasionally 2-5 years
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with parents and families to support children’s individual needs
- Work as part of a team to ensure high standards of care
- Contribute to the overall ethos and culture of the nursery

Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in a childcare setting is essential
- Level 3 qualification in childcare is preferred but not essential
- Understanding of child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
