We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team, with a particular focus on supporting children with additional support needs.

✨ About the role

You will work closely with children, families and our team to provide nurturing, inclusive and individualised support. You’ll help children develop their confidence, communication, independence and learning, while ensuring every child feels valued, included and supported.

We’re looking for someone who is patient, compassionate, creative and committed to inclusive practice, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional support needs.

📚 Essential requirements

• A relevant Early Years/Childcare qualification recognised by the SSSC for practitioner registration, such as HNC Childhood Practice (SCQF Level 7) or an appropriate SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) qualification
• SSSC registration, or eligibility and willingness to register with the SSSC
• A commitment to maintaining SSSC registration and Continuous Professional Learning (CPL)
• A sound understanding of child development, safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to complete)
• A satisfactory PVG membership/check and suitability to work with children

⭐ Desirable

Experience of working with children with additional support needs, including experience of supporting individualised plans and adapting activities to meet children’s individual needs, would be highly desirable.

🍄 what a wonderful two days back into the nursery routine!

Our children have embraced coming back to little wonderland as if they have never been away! We are blown away with the progress our children have made over summer and we are extremely proud of each and every one of them.
