We’re kicking off 2025 with exciting news—Rotation Two is underway! 🚀

Here’s a look at where some of our amazing interns have started their new placements:
✨ Kyle has joined Grierson and Graham, working as a car valet.
✨ David has started his placement at Garroch Stores.
✨ Graeme is contributing to the Growing Rural Talent project and also working at Shambellie House.

We’re so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see all they accomplish in this rotation. Here's to a successful and inspiring year ahead! 💪

Shiloh has had an exciting start to his placement with Dumfries and Galloway Council, working alongside the Harbour Master! 🎉 This week, he even got to head out to sea and had a quick shot at steering the boat – what an adventure!

His mentor has been thoroughly impressed with Shiloh’s work ethic and enthusiasm. We’re thrilled to see him thriving in such a unique role and look forward to more great experiences ahead! 🌊💪

🌟 Introducing Lucas from Our 2024 Cohort! 🌟

We’re thrilled to introduce Lucas, who’s joined Dumfries and Galloway Council as a Clerical Assistant within their Business Support Service! 🎉 Lucas is settling in brilliantly, and he shared, “Placement is good, the days go by really fast. I’m so happy! I like working with everyone; they’re all a really friendly bunch, and I want to work for them.”

Lucas’s mentor also shared some fantastic feedback, noting how quickly he picked up the process of inputting and how well he’s fitting in with the team. We’re excited to see all he’ll achieve in this role! 💪

We’re excited to welcome Kyle, who has joined Barbours of Dumfries as a retail assistant in the Men’s Wear Department! 🎉 A big thank you to Barbours for coming on board as a placement provider and supporting Kyle in this new role.

Kyle shared, “I’ve surprised myself with how quickly I’ve picked up the till processes. I’m really enjoying learning about the procedures and chatting to customers. The staff have been so lovely and approachable, by far the best experience''
