Since the last round of recruitment, we have had lots of inquiries about potential employment opportunities with us, but because we were not recruiting at the time, we weren't able to bring anyone onboard. We are thrilled to announce that this is no longer the case and NOW is your chance to be a part of one of Manchester's most exciting music services!!!
We are once again recruiting for our pool of casual music tutors to deliver inspirational music sessions to individuals, small groups and whole classes of primary and secondary aged students. As always, we are interested in hearing from musicians of all instruments and disciplines, but in this round of recruitment we are particularly interested in hearing from brass tutors.
Applications close on Wednesday 10th June, please click the link below to apply. If you have any questions or queries about the role or the recruitment process, please email us at [email protected]

A number of our students were involved in the BBC Philharmonic 'Side by Side' project yesterday at BBC Broadcast Studio at MediaCity. It was an opportunity for young musicians from all over Greater Manchester to play with some of the worlds top instrumentalists. What an amazing day!

It was a busy weekend for some of our amazing students! One of our bands, 'Airheads' took part in the Greater Manchester Music Hub Battle of the Bands competition at Band on the Wall in Manchester. Unfortunately they didn't come away with a win (huge well done to the winners from boltonmusicservice!) but they put on a great show and did us proud. Well done lads!
We also had a rehearsal at our music centre for a new chamber ensemble who are preparing an arrangement of Habanera from Bizet's opera, 'Carmen' for this years Stoller Hall concert. It sounded fantastic, we can't wait for you to hear it.
We are only a few days away from Stoller Hall, so if you haven't registered as a performer yet, please do so here: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/tameside-music-service/t-dkagrox
If you haven't booked your audience tickets, please do so here: https://stollerhall.com/whats-on/tameside-music-service-in-concert-3/
See you on Sunday!
