If your child will be starting Year 7 in September 2027, we would love you to come and discover what Rayner Stephens High School has to offer.

Join us at our Open Evening on Thursday 24th September from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. Explore the school, meet our staff and learn more about our curriculum, enrichment opportunities and the support available as students make the move to secondary school.

Headteacher talks will take place at 5.30pm, 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

From GCSE success to an apprenticeship in business administration, George has an exciting future ahead!

He achieved one grade 9, three grade 8s, three grade 7s and a Level 2 Distinction and will now put his skills into practice as he takes his first steps into the world of work.

A brilliant achievement and a very well-deserved result. Congratulations, George!

Four grade 9s! What an incredible achievement for Preaw 🎉

Preaw also secured two grade 8s, one grade 7 and a Level 2 Distinction. She will now continue her studies at Ashton Sixth Form College, taking Physics, Chemistry and Further Maths.

These outstanding results are a brilliant reward for all her hard work. Congratulations, Preaw. We can’t wait to see what you achieve next!

Next stop, Tameside College! 👏

After achieving one grade 9, two grade 8s, three grade 7s and two grade 6s, Evelyn is now looking forward to studying hairdressing at Tameside College.

Results Day is well underway and there are already plenty of smiles, hugs and happy tears around!

We’re incredibly proud of how our pupils have approached this morning and we’re loving hearing about the exciting next steps they have planned.
