To celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026 and show pride in the many nations represented within our school community, pupils are invited to wear their national team tops throughout the tournament.
We are proud of the diversity within our school and believe it is important to celebrate and recognise all nationalities, whether their country is taking part in the World Cup or not.
Pupils should continue to wear their school active uniform as normal, but may substitute their usual white top with a national shirt if they have one.

Huge congratulations to our KS2 pupils for finishing 2nd in the Cheshire cricket finals. Under coach Noah, they produced some outstanding cricket with superb bowling, big sixes and excellent teamwork throughout. They now progress to further tournaments in Cheshire, representing Tameside, and we couldnβt be prouder.
A special mention to Harry, who was named Man of the Tournament. A fantastic achievement for him and the whole team. πππ

Today we were delighted to welcome Mr Emlyn Wright, Assistant Director of Education & Inclusion in Tameside. Our Head Boy and Prefects showed Mr Wright around our fabulous school and he had a chance to visit our new sensory room.
Pupils were delighted to share what we do on a daily basis at Broadbent Fold. Our favourite comment from Mr Wright "You are a very forward-thinking school." We loved this comment as it reflects our ethos to get pupils ready for a future in employment.
Thank you to Mr Wright for taking the time to visit us.
