We are delighted to have been presented with Tameside Music Service’s Music Mark of Recognition for Dedication & Improvement.

This award celebrates the value we place on music across our school and recognises both the progress we have made and our ambition to develop our music provision even further.

This week, we celebrated our amazing Year 6 pupils as they prepare for the next exciting chapter of their journey. 💙🎓

We enjoyed a fantastic Year 6 Leavers' Assembly and they have spent time signing each other's yearbooks, sharing kind messages, favourite memories and best wishes for the future.

We know they'll all miss each other, but we can't wait to see what they go on to achieve. Wishing all of our Year 6 pupils the very best for their next adventure! 🌟

We are delighted to announce that Broadbent Fold Primary School and Nursery has been awarded the School Games Platinum Mark Award for the 2025/26 academic year.

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award, launched in 2012 and facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, which recognises schools for their commitment to developing competitive sport and promoting physical activity both within school and across the wider community.

Achieving the Platinum Mark is a fantastic recognition of our continued dedication to providing high-quality sporting opportunities for all pupils, and we are incredibly proud of this achievement.

What a fantastic way to round off National Sports Week! 🏉🗺️

Today, our pupils enjoyed brilliant rugby sessions with the fantastic coaches from Dukinfield Rugby Club, developing their skills, confidence and teamwork.

They also put their navigation and problem-solving skills to the test during exciting orienteering challenges around the school grounds, finding hidden markers, solving clues and working together to complete the course.

A fantastic finish to a brilliant week of sport. Well done, everyone! 👏
