Rainbow Nursery - EYDC

It’s going to be a warm week! so please make sure your child has a named sun hat and a water bottle.
We’ll be encouraging lots of drinks throughout the day and spending time in the shade where possible,
-Can you please apply sun cream before arriving at nursery, please let us know, we will keep them topped up with nursery sun cream throughout the day.
-Could you make sure your child is wearing lightweight, comfortable clothing each day.
-We’ll be keeping an eye on everyone to make sure they stay cool and hydrated.

Group Photo Day – Monday 8th June 📸

We will be taking our nursery group photo on Monday 8th June.

If your child is not normally in nursery on this day but you would like them to be included in the group photo, please bring them to nursery at 9:30am and wait with them until they are called for the photograph.

For children who are leaving nursery to start school, we will also be taking Graduation Portrait Photos on the same day. 🎓

April at Rainbows 🌈

-What a lovely month we have had at Rainbow.

We celebrated Easter with lots of wonderful themed activities, creative fun, and some amazing dress-up outfits from the children 🐣🌷

The children have also loved making the most of the sunny weather with lots of outdoor play, physical activities, and water play fun ☀️. From running, exploring and staying active outside to splashing and enjoying the sunshine, lots of natural exploring activities, it has been lovely to see everyone so happy and engaged outdoors.

A huge congratulations to Aimee D on celebrating her 2-year anniversary with the nursery — thank you for all your hard work and dedication

We are also so proud of our staff achievements:
✨ Hadia is now fully qualified Level 3 in Childcare
✨ Paige is now qualified Level 2 and continuing on to complete her Level 3
✨ Olivia was our Employee of the Month — well deserved! 👏

🌍💙 Friday 8th May marks a very special occasion as we celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s extraordinary 100 years on planet Earth! 🦁🐢🐘

To join in the celebrations, we ask all children who are in tomorrow, to come to nursery wearing blue or green, or dressed as their favourite animal! 🌿🦋

We can’t wait to see all the wonderful outfits as we learn more about nature, wildlife, and our amazing world together. 🌎✨

What a wonderful month we’ve had in March!

We’ve celebrated so many special moments, including World Book Day and our lovely Mother’s Day takeaway breakfast. All photos have been added to parent zone, please feel free to upload in the comments section below.

The children have had fantastic learning opportunities and have continued to grow and develop through engaging activities designed to further their learning.

A big congratulations to Sophie for being our Employee of the Month 👏

And well done to Lyndsey on achieving her 2 years of service award – thank you for your dedication and the positivity you bring to the team.

Milestone Birthday; We also had a fantastic time celebrating Claire’s 40th birthday 🎂. We hope you had the best day celebrating.

Easter Holiday Notice

We would like to let everyone know that funded children will be on their Easter holidays for the next two weeks.

We look forward to welcoming all funded children back to nursery on Monday 13th April.
