is an international awareness campaign that celebrates the work and achievements of women engineers, It also aims to inspire the next generation of female engineers and promote gender equality in engineering professions.

This year's theme, highlights the crucial blend of human skills, technical understanding, and creative leadership women bring to modern engineering challenges.

Our ESOL and Adult Functional Skills learners recently marked the end of the year with a spectacular celebration!

The event culminated in a fabulous fashion show, showcasing and celebrating the diverse cultures of our learners 🌍✨

Many thanks to our dedicated staff for organising this brilliant event, and to the Deputy Mayor of Dudley for taking the time to support and meet our students! 🤩

Last night, we held our "On The Inside Looking In" Research Meet at the Black Country & Marches Institute of Technology!

Attendees were welcomed with a fantastic reception from our talented music learners, who performed acoustic renditions of popular rock songs, alongside a brilliant dance performance.

The evening opened with a brilliant keynote from Lou Mycroft who set the tone before the event officially got underway. Attendees then broke off into groups to attend talks on a variety of topics.

Thanks so much to all who took the time to visit, whether as a speaker, contributor, or attendee. We look forward to continuing these important conversations and sharing more opportunities to connect in the future.

T Level Animal Management learners recently worked in partnership with Dudley Zoo and Castle to deliver activities as part of the Festival of Change! 😎

As part of the project, students planned and managed engagement activities designed to promote wildlife conservation and sustainable behaviours.

Activities included making seed bombs to support pollinators and an insect-tasting experience to raise awareness of sustainable food production. Across the two-day event, students engaged with 179 visitors!

The project provided an excellent opportunity for students to apply their skills in a real-world setting, developing their confidence, communication and project management skills while delivering a positive community impact.

Well done to all learners who took part! 👏
