💚 Wildlings Family. We Need You 💚

We have received the devastating news that one of our Wildlings, 6 year old Partaap, has been diagnosed with an extremely rare and terminal form of Juvenile ALS/MND.

His family are now in a race against time to explore every possible avenue that could give their little boy more time.

They are hoping to raise £1 million towards developing a potential treatment specifically for Partaap.

We are full steam ahead with plans for fundraising events and will send out details soon.

We know many of our Wildlings families will want to show their love and support.

In the meantime, if you are able to donate, even a small amount, or simply share Partaap's story, it could make a huge difference.

STAY & PLAY AT THE WILDLINGS

The Wildlings is opening its woodland doors for two special Friday Stay & Play sessions, giving children the opportunity to experience nature, adventure and child led play in our beautiful outdoor setting.

FRIDAY — MINI WILDLINGS
9:30am – 11:30am

For children from walking age to around 6 years old, siblings welcome too.

A relaxed and welcoming outdoor session where little Wildlings can explore at their own pace.

FRIDAY — WILDLINGS PLUS
1:00pm – 2:30pm
Starting 18/09/2026

A special SEND-friendly session for children aged around 4–10, with siblings welcome too.

Wildlings Plus provides a welcoming outdoor environment where children can explore, play, socialise and engage with nature in a way that works for them.
There is no pressure to join in with everything; children can follow their own interests, discover at their own pace and enjoy the freedom of being outdoors. 🌳💚

Here at The Wildlings Outdoor School, our children are fully immersed in nature, all day, every day, learning through curiosity, trial and error and shared experience, setting themselves up with skills that will last a lifetime.

Steep hills... they're about so much more than getting to the top!

We often seek out steep hills because they help children build confidence through challenge and managed risk.

As children navigate uneven ground, they develop coordination, balance, strength, endurance, resilience, and confidence.

Some of our younger children find the climb a little tricky, but our older children are always quick to offer a helping hand and encourage them all the way to the top.

It's another wonderful example of our mixed-age community in action—children learning from one another, showing kindness, leadership, and teamwork every step of the way.
