Try out this Leg Circuit for a super effective & quick workout At Home or In the gym! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
1️⃣ Crawl into Jump x 8
2️⃣ Bodyweight Squat x10
3️⃣ Side Walks x6 (each side)
4️⃣ Hip Thrust x 12
5️⃣ Single Leg Hip Thrust x 4 (each side)
6️⃣ 10-15 sec hold in Hip Thrust position
‼️ Complete exercises back to back then take 1-2 minute rest.

2️⃣ Barbell Shoulder Press x 4-6

Often with the Start of a NEW YEAR it's so easy to put PRESSURE on yourself.
This doesn't help with pressure put on US by the media continuously promoting the use of DETOX DIETS, MAGIC PILLS THAT BURN FAT, SHAKES THAT MAKE YOU SLIM, WORKOUTS THAT ARE "THE WAY" TO LOSE WEIGHT.
I myself have brought into these in the past.
It takes time to UNDERSTAND how results happen and also to make them happen.
THERE IS NO QUICK FIX!!
PLEASE don't be harsh on yourself, put yourself down or put immense pressure on yourself at the start of a NEW YEAR or any other time of the year.

So excited to have back in my life ❀️
This time I ordered Coco Cereal & Vanilla Whey Protein! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ I also ordered a sample of the Salted Caramel The Whey Protein!
You may ask why do I use protein powders? It's not because it's a magic formula.. oh no! It won't make you magically put on muscle overnight & it certainly isn't a MUST after a gym session, I have it because it fits into my lifestyle & means I can reach my goals easier! πŸ’ͺ🏼
I use it on my breakfast cereal mixed in with regular milk to increase my protein intake, I also add it into oats, mix into Greek yoghurt for a snack or just mix with almond milk/water if I'm low on protein for the day! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

The Smith Machine πŸ‘†πŸΌπŸ‘†πŸΌ
This is one of my go to pieces of equipment inside the gym!
I can't even say how much I used to be scared of using the piece of equipment! 😫 I guess it does look kind of scary!
It's great to use if your stuck for time or if the gym is busy as you can do multiple exercises both for upper & lower body!
In this video I'm doing Single Leg Deadlifts πŸ‘ This targets both my Glutes & Hamstrings! I ensure that I'm using a Hip hinge to maintain correct form, also stretching out my leg to target the Glute at the top of the movement. You need to ensure you don't go too heavy at first, ensure you are stable & your balance is key πŸ”‘
You can also do this exercise ensuring both legs are not moved, you can then start to add on weight as you progress. I also perform back squats, Lunges, bent over Rows, bench press, seated shoulder press. So many variations are possible. Don't be scared to try out new pieces of equipment your gym may have, spend some time researching how to use it correctly & then kill it guys!! πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼

This breakfast is lower on fat & protein & higher in carbs!

My favourite type of breakfast for a Sunday Morning 😍😍
2 whole eggs with 3 egg whites, I also added in mushrooms on brown toast! & of course topped with tomato sauce & brown sauce πŸ…
I add in the extra egg whites to top up my protein intake for the day, plus it keeps me fuller for longer! πŸ˜‹

Do you ever walk past a shop window and catch yourself and feel insecure by what you see? Yes!! Me too! That's totally normal and totally ok! πŸ™‹πŸΌ We all feel that feeling inside!
Most of our lives are not going to be perfect, nor are we going to catch ourself at a perfect angle like in my posed picture! πŸ‘†πŸΌ
We are more likely to catch ourself like my realistic image πŸ‘†πŸΌwhere we are not posing. Life is not meant to be lived out worrying about what you look like on a daily basis.
Of course when I post on my social media I want my picture to look good, don't we all? But I also want to be honest, open & most of all relatable! Because we are all human, we all come across obstacles & we are all in this journey together! πŸ˜™
