Did you know that November signifies Islamophobia Awareness Month?

Here at the Institute of Technology, we stand against Islamophobia and aim to create a space that is understanding and inclusive, and free from Islamophobia in all of its forms. 🖤

Today is Stress Awareness Day. It's so important to look after your mental health and recognise the signs of stress. 😌

There are many things you can do to help on those extra-stressful days, here's our top tips! 👇

🖤 Talk to someone you trust
🖤 Take a deep breath
🖤 Get into a good sleep routine
🖤 ​Spend some time outdoors in the fresh air
🖤 Do something that you enjoy
​🖤 Make time for physical activity
🖤 Take some ‘me time’ and relax

If you’re feeling stressed, one of the best things you can do is to talk to someone. Our counsellors are trained to listen, to accept your feelings and thoughts without criticism and judgement. 💬

The funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday 19th September. This day has been declared a Bank Holiday and therefore our campus will be closed. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time. 🖤

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 👑

We are grateful for her service and life-long dedication to our country. Her incredible leadership serves as an example to us all. 🇬🇧

Wow! Such amazing results from our A Level students this year! 🎉

✔️100% overall pass rate in all 31 A Level subjects on offer
✔️61.2% of all entries achieved at grades A* - B
✔️84% of entries securing A* - C grades

Despite this being the first year examinations were taken since the pandemic, students have outperformed their peers with a 9-percentage point increase on 2018-19 data (the last time formal examinations were taken).

Principal, Neil Thomas, said; “I could not be prouder of Dudley Sixth learners. I am delighted the high grades they have achieved demonstrate the hard work they have put into their studies. This year’s results reflect the upward trend in high grades at Dudley Sixth year after year.”
