A lovely morning at Adventure Street today! 🌟

The children had so much fun exploring the role play areas, using their imaginations, building confidence, practising communication skills, and learning through play — all while making special memories together 💛

Role play is such a wonderful way to support children’s development across the EYFS, and today was full of creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of smiles!

There’s something so special about children spending time in nature 🌿
Today we enjoyed ducks and geese by the lake, open fields to explore, and a lovely playground made just for little ones.

Fresh air, freedom to play, and beautiful surroundings can make such a difference to a child’s day and mine too!

The children had such a great time stepping back in time, looking at the old shops, and taking everything in at their own pace. We love days like this—lots of fresh air, curiosity, and learning through real experiences rather than just toys at home 😊
These are the kinds of outings we’ll be enjoying regularly

Careful when stocking up!

When you’re stocking up on treats this Halloween please remember that some sweets can be dangerous for little ones.

Lollipops, hard sweets and mini eggs in particular can pose a serious choking risk. They’re the perfect size to completely block a child’s airway. So please pick another treat.

Building Blocks = Big Learning!

Today the little ones explored building blocks — and wow, so much learning was happening through play!

They practised their fine motor skills stacking and balancing, used their thinking skills to work out why towers fell, and chatted away using words like “tall”, “big”, and “under”.

What looked like simple play was actually building their maths, language, creativity, and confidence — one block at a time!

We love exploring in Nature 😁 🌳 Whats that's that over there? What could that be? Where did that fall from? What else could we find?

We are out super early today creating our scavenger hunt map for our mindees 🌞 This helps us to categorize objects, understand the world, work on our fine motor skills, develop our language whilst encouraging lots of teamwork. Nothing beats the outdoors!
