Held on Friday 22nd November at Millennium Point, Birmingham, the event commenced with a captivating poem, "Tomorrow Awaits," written especially for the Trust by Jasmine Gardosi, the former Poet Laureate for Birmingham. 🌟

Dudley Academies Trust Conference: A Day of Inspiration and Innovation 💙

On Friday, 22nd November 2024, Millennium Point in Birmingham buzzed with excitement as the Dudley Academies Trust November Conference took place. The event brought together over 700 staff members from our six Trust schools, governance members, and distinguished guests from the Department for Education (DfE), local Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), higher education and other local employers with whom the Trust collaborates .

Highlights from the event included:

✨The launch of the new Dudley Academies Trust Strategic Plan 2024-2027.
✨A poem written especially for the Trust by Jasmine Gardosi, the former Poet Laureate for Birmingham. ‘Tomorrow Awaits' performed brilliantly by primary and secondary learners.
✨Attended by the renowned Keynote speaker Professor Steve Peters, the esteemed author of "The Chimp Paradox".
✨ The official opening of the Innovation Exchange Centre, a state of the art facility located in the heart of Birmingham , Millennium Point.
✨Collaborative sessions placing focus on ‘Innovation in the Curriculum’ and ‘Operational excellence’.

Thank you to everyone who attended this inspiring event and contributed to its success. The conference was a resounding success and shows just how far Dudley Academies Trust has developed since it was established in September 2017.
