Another wonderful few days during the February break where we do our thing!!! The children at Scottie Dottie Learning always have the freedom and right to open-ended play and creativity, fully present in the learning moment.

There are no screens in the studio which I believe is becoming a rare, unique if not special environment. In certain learning circumstances I consider the absence of screens an actual luxury for young children especially when we are seeing the detrimental effects of children born and exposed to a digital society from birth and educational bodies pushing for more screen exposure in the early years settings 🥹

Classes open next week for our local holiday in February. There are some places still available 🌟 🎭 ❤️

Scottie Dottie has been a bit quieter last few weeks, had a little break from the filming schedule and dogs had a rest too 🎥 🐶🥰

It’s been a very busy few days gathering with friends and family and glad to be at home tonight finally getting the feet up 💛
Managed to get a lovely walk from Balmaha to Drymen via Conic Hill with Rory and Lottie to blow the cobwebs away and discuss our resolutions 🤔 😁.. in between lots entertaining and partying with Mr Scottie Dottie at our family pub!

I hope you’ve all had a lovely time and wishing you a 2026 full of peace, health and happiness 💛🥂 💃🏼

A very merry Christmas to you all and I hope you all had a lovely time yesterday.

I just want to say a thank you to the little following that I do have and to those who love Scottie Dottie 😍 You are what keeps me going, especially as the world of social media can be a crazy place!

For me it’s not about chasing followers or making that post hoping it goes viral which is often deemed as the definition of success. Success for me is actually the art of loving what I create and doing it wholeheartedly and Scottie Dottie has openend up a whole new world for me albeit an extremely wild and hectic one 😂 I’ve always been an arty farty type and as a teacher I loved dressing up for the children in my class. I love being creative so it’s the process of making something wholesome, a story with a message and everything that comes with that all while trying to stay my true authentic self.

I’m looking forward to seeing what 2026 has in store for Scottie Dottie 🎭💫📕💛
