Did you know that oyster mushrooms are carnivorous?
They poison small worms called nematodes to ingest their insides to make nitrogen.
Oysters grow year round but prefer the colder months. You'll see them on deciduous trees such as beech.

Join us for our ✨️FORAGE & FERMENT✨️ workshop on Saturday 22nd March at Ragmans Lane Farm, where we will take you on a guided walk around the farm learning about plant identification and gathering ingredients. Then we'll head back to make a wild kimchi that you can take home with you.
There will be some seasonal snacks available to inspire your next foraged meal.
