Last week, our end-of-year trip to Alton Towers was filled with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories! 👏

It was fantastic to see our students pushing themselves out of their comfort zones. Whether that meant taking on a thrilling rollercoaster, trying something new, or simply embracing the adventure. For some, it was even their very first visit to Alton Towers, making the day extra special.

From the screams on the rides to the smiles and laughter shared throughout the day, it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and making lasting memories with friends. A fantastic experience for everybody involved! 🎢

Our students had a wonderful time at the Access Sport AP Sports Day! 🏉🥊🚴🔴⚽️

They enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities, including rugby, boxing and BMXing, while building confidence, teamwork and having lots of fun.💪👏

A huge thank you to Access Sport for organising such a fantastic event – we can’t wait for the next one! ⭐️

Our students have had an amazing day at the Sea Life Centre, exploring the wonders of the underwater world through exciting hands-on and immersive experiences.
A highlight of the visit was the interactive rock pool, where students had the opportunity to gently touch starfish and learn more about these fascinating marine creatures. Their enthusiasm and curiosity were fantastic to see as they connected with sea life up close.⭐️
The adventure continued with an incredible VR underwater experience, taking students on a virtual dive alongside majestic sharks and other ocean animals. The immersive journey gave them a unique perspective of life beneath the waves and left everyone talking about their favourite moments!🦈🐠🐢
A day filled with discovery, learning, and unforgettable memories. 🌟

At Stepping Stones, we are always looking for opportunities to help our students discover new hobbies and interests that they can enjoy for life. 👏

Last week, one of our students had his very first experience on a pitch and putt course. It was fantastic to see him embrace the challenge, show off his natural skills, and maintain excellent concentration throughout the session. He approached each hole with enthusiasm and determination, making the most of this new sporting experience. 💪

We believe that introducing our students to a variety of activities helps them build confidence, develop new skills, and find hobbies that bring enjoyment and fulfilment long into the future.

Well done on a brilliant first round! We look forward to seeing where this new interest takes you! ⛳👏

We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable success of our recent Bike Maintenance Workshop . Where for the last 3 weeks, several dedicated students have turned their curiosity into high-level mechanical skill. ⚙️
​These sessions provided hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative environment. Students have been tasked with making bikes roadworthy by diagnosing issues, performing ‘M’ safety checks, repairing punctures, replacing brake pads and cables. They have also had fun respraying some bike frames and have created some amazing designs.🛠️
​To recognise their hard work and commitment, the participants will be awarded certificates for their achievements. These awards represent not just the technical skills learned, but the perseverance and patience required to master these complex tasks.
