Absolutely delighted to announce we have been awarded funding through Sport England for a 40 week project to support both our seated dance class for clients with cancer in Calow and our partner dancing class in Newbold, for people affected by Parkinsons and other long term health conditions!! Absolutely delighted! Thank you Sport England

You don't realise the impact you make until you ask for feedback. I was overwhelmed by all the wonderful comments from the participants of our Dancing for Health seated dance session at this Retirement and Assisted Living facility in Sheffield. When clients say it's the highlight of their week, you know you are making a difference! Working with the elderly can be so rewarding.

Our Parkinson's dance class has made a huge impact on its participants. See Cathy's story. The class is running out of funding so we are doing an afternoon tea dance, this Saturday 6th July at 2pm at St Andrew's Church hall, Newbold Chesterfield to help fundraise to keep the class going. Please come along and have a dance or a cup of tea and a cake with us or share with family or friends who may enjoy this afternoon of dancing and socialising fun.
All proceeds from the event, teas and coffees and raffle prizes go to Dancing for Health to enable these classes to continue making a difference to people's quality of life.

CALLING ALL DANCERS..... Please come along to our charity afternoon tea dance. Have a boogie and enjoy a homemade cake and cuppa. All proceeds are going to Dancing for Health CIC to provide partner dance classes for people affected by Parkinson's Disease and other long term health conditions. Saturday 6th July at 2pm. With the developing Coronavirus situation across the UK and rising concerns both myself and Melvin have agreed it is best to close our Monday night wcs classes until the situation eases. Dancing is an activity that requires us to hold hands and share an embrace in dance position, so for the well being of everyone we are taking this temporary measure. We will notify you once classes can resume. Stay safe everyone and hope to see you all soon.
