Due to rain last Saturday our toy sale didn’t go ahead as planned so we are having a final sale this Saturday 29th July. We have a few bikes and scooters left, plus imagination toys and some toys and games to help with maths and literacy. We also have some lockable filing cabinets (different sizes), a lunch trolley, a trolley with selection of different sized drawers perfect for storage and some stationery. We also have 1 red table left and 5 chairs. Come along and pick up a bargain. Open to everyone. We look forward to seeing you between 11am - 3pm.

So it’s out last day today as we close our doors forever. We would like to say a massive thank you for the support we have been given, offering kind words,offers to help out and best of all chocolates 🍫. The children did some fantastic wall art as a surprise for Sharon which was wonderful. Today will be a really emotional day but we know all the children are moving on to a new phase in their lives. I would like to thank all the staff who have become close friends and wish them all the best in their search for a new job. Hopefully their time at Little Learners has set them up well for the future. Thank you to all the parents for the fantastic leaving gifts and we apologise in advance for being emotional wrecks at the end of the day. Love and best wishes to all. It’s been an absolute pleasure. So yesterday the children paid a visit to Brindley Manor Care home. It was lovely to meet the residents and take part in some Debutots activities with Kirsten. As you can see they enjoyed some cuddles, shared some books, played with bubbles, listened to a story and did some scarf play. Looking forward to our next visit.

What were the children busy doing last week. To make learning how to hold scissors more fun we went outside and the children practiced cutting the grass. They have done some early morning yoga and chased
bubbles. We also had some fun puppet play with Rosie and Jim who the children love. We have built some structures with blocks and magnets and then got messy in the mud kitchen.

To Celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, we have had fun today making Crowns and colouring flags. We did an outdoor marching band with musical instruments and then bubble play. We enjoyed a tea party with yummy cakes. The children learnt new vocabulary about the Coronation.

We went on a treasure hunt in Pre-School with the children looking for plastic eggs. Some of the eggs contained letters to make a word. Could the children help us to work it out. EASTER FUN.
