Fountain Farm Fountain House Farm, Watton is a small family owned working livestock and arable farm. This provides a more flexible environment for your child.

The Nursery began in February 1997 and is managed by Christine Martinson a qualified and experienced early year’s teacher. At the Nursery we recognise that safety and security are paramount. The Farm and Nursery are set in a rural location with ample private car parking facilities allowing a safe point for dropping off and picking up children. The purpose built nursery has specific well-designed a

nd equipped rooms. These rooms are arranged into areas suited to the child’s maturity so children are not isolated in separate rooms. The rural location provides a unique opportunity for the children to visit the farm and play on our large playing field.

The Baby Room have been exploring different stackers and enjoying a range of books together 📚🧩💕
Food Week in the Beech room! 🍦🍕🍓
The children enjoyed making ice cream, sandwiches, chocolate buns, courgette and lettuce soup, pizzas, chocolate crispy buns and berry smoothies. They also groomed the ponies! 🐴👩‍🍳

Summer Holidays Continued...👟🌞🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️
The Baby Room have enjoyed daily woodland walks throughout the week, giving the children lots of opportunities to explore nature. On Thursday, they also had great fun joining in with a Moo Music session.🌳☘🎶
The 2–4 Room and Out of School Club have been taking part in Sports Week, enjoying a variety of race including egg and spoon races, running races, sack races, and crawling races. They also enjoyed joining in with the Moo Music session on Thursday, where everyone had lots of fun singing, dancing, and making music together.🥚🥄🐮🕺🏽

Our Week at Nursery
👶 Babies
The babies explored different fruits, including pomegranate, mango, and watermelon. They also enjoyed using shape sorters to develop their fine motor and problem-solving skills.
🌳 Two-Year-Olds
Our two-year-olds took part in Show and Tell, sharing their special toys with their friends. They also made collages for our display board and had lots of fun at Moo Music on Thursday.

Today we had a party to celebrate our amazing nursery children as they get ready for their next adventure at school. 🎒🌟

It has been a joy to watch you grow, learn, and make wonderful memories. We are so proud of each and every one of you and know you'll do amazing things.

Our Week at Nursery
We made flags and cheered on England during the first half of Wednesday's match!
👶 Babies
The babies enjoyed exploring the outdoors and playing on the climbing frame.
🌳 Two-Year-Olds
Our two-year-olds planted fruits and vegetables and created a worm world by digging for worms and collecting leaves.
🌈 Three- and Four-Year-Olds
Our 3–4-year-olds learnt about the butterfly life cycle, released our butterflies, and tried on school uniforms ready for school.

This Week at Nursery
👶 Babies
The babies have been busy making Father’s Day cards and exploring a variety of natural objects through sensory play.
🌳 Two-Year-Olds
Our two-year-olds created handprint Father’s Day cards, enjoyed playing with trains in the woods, and started making grass heads that they can watch grow over the coming weeks. Today, we were also excited to see the deer up close!
🌈 Three- and Four-Year-Olds
Our 3–4-year-olds have been busy making Father’s Day cards and enjoying a range of activities throughout the week.

This Week at Nursery
👶 Babies
The babies have enjoyed playing one-to-one games with familiar adults and exploring sensory ice gloves. They were also interested in watching the farrier on Thursday.
🌳 Two-Year-Olds
The two-year-olds collected natural materials and used them to make crowns. On Wednesday, they took part in Sports Day with Leila, enjoying a Moo Music session with Maggie Moo, they looked at family photos during the week, and watched the farrier on Thursday.
🌈 Three- and Four-Year-Olds
Our 3–4-year-olds explored similarities and differences using natural materials, encouraging observation, discussion, and comparison skills.
