🧡🧡Ofsted Report Announcement🧡🧡
We are delighted to announce that Roundabout Nursery has received an excellent Ofsted report, achieving Strong Standards across all six areas.
🧡Strong Standards - Achievement
Children make excellent progress from their starting points. Staff have a robust understanding of each child’s individual needs. The needs of the children are constantly reflected upon.
🧡Strong Standards - Behaviour, Attitudes and establishing routines.
Leaders have created a warm and respectful environment with high expectations embedded throughout.
🧡Strong Standards - Children’s welfare and wellbeing.
Staff have genuine and highly positive relationships with the children. Children feel happy and safe in their care. Parents and carers feel involved and supported and believe the nursery is living out their ethos.
🧡Strong Standards - Curriculum and teaching .
Leaders have high expectations for their curriculum offer. A focus on early reading is evident. Leaders have embedded high quality interactions and curriculum teaching across the provision.
🧡Strong Standards - Inclusion
Leaders have an in-depth understanding of special education needs and/disabilities and other disadvantaged groups. Through thorough early indentification they can swiftly support barriers to learning and/or wellbeing.
🧡 Strong Standards - Leadership and governance.
Leaders have extensive knowledge of their areas of strength and development. They are significantly aware of the practise within their setting.
This is a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication and hard work of my wonderful staff team, who work tirelessly to support the children in our care . Without them none of this would be possible. I would also like to thank all of our amazing children and their families who continue to support us.
