Due to an increase in numbers. We are looking for a Practitioner with a Level 3 or above Childcare Qualification to join our Nursery team. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about working with children to support them in achieving the best possible outcomes.

The position available is for 30-40 hours per week term time only. The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to work around the nursery open hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm.

As we approach the end of term this week. We would just like to thank you all so much for the support you have shown and kind words you have shared with us throughout the year it really is appreciated by all of the staff members - we honestly cannot thank you all enough! 🧡

We say goodbye to 28 children this year as they move on to their next journey into ‘big school!’ We will miss them all very much but we know they will all have so much fun at ‘big school’ and will do absolutely amazing as always!

We will look forward to see all of our returning children in September and we will be welcoming lots of new families too! ❤️

We have had another very busy week this week! 🧡
We have been baking for our very own tea parties setting the table ourselves, we have been trying lots of different foods talking about healthy and unhealthy choices, we have been using junk modelling to create our own tigers and have drawn our own tigers too! We have been making play dough measuring out all of the ingredients ourselves, and so much more! We even had our very own tea party with a tiger!! 🐯

This half term we are focusing on the story ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ 🐅
Up to now have enjoyed having own own tea parties both inside and outside, including preparing and shopping for our own food! 🛒
We have also been exploring and identifying lots of different animals using our mini torches and projectors 🔦

Today we went on a dinosaur adventure with Leila from Moo Music! 🦖🦕 We learned the sign for dinosaur, found dinosaur eggs and baby dinosaurs, we danced and stomped and had so much fun!

One of our stories this term is ‘The Wizard of Oz!’
So this afternoon we had a surprise visit from ‘Toto’ (Chantall’s little dog Tilly🙊) the children absolutely loved her and I think it’s safe to say she loved meeting the children too!

Massive thank you again to Carol from Puppets, Plays and Story Days for coming and leading some interactive story telling and puppet training today for our staff members!

As we move on to the last couple of days of term we just wanted to say thank you!

Firstly, we wanted to say huge thank you to Carol from Puppets, Plays and Story Days for coming to our leavers party this evening and reading ‘The Gruffalo’ to our children with her amazing puppets! They loved it! 🧡

We also wanted to say a great big thank you to all of the children for this year. They have all been absolutely amazing and dealt so well with what has been such an unpredictable year! We hope you all have the most amazing summer! We hope all of our leavers have an amazing time at school, and we are looking forward to seeing all of our returning and new children in September ♥️

And lastly, a massive thank you to all of our parents/carers for the lovely gifts, cards and extremely kind words that we have received. We are all so very grateful and it means so much to all of us.

It is this week, that we say goodbye to 32 children that are all ready for their next journey on to ‘big school!’ We will miss them all very much and hope they have all enjoyed their time with us at Roundabout Nursery! We know that you will all have the most amazing time at school! 🧡

It is our teddy bears party week this week so remember to bring your teddies - we have lots of fun things planned! 🧸

We have had such an exciting morning already today! One of our beautiful butterflies decided to make an appearance and we were able to watch it emerge from its cocoon, we were all very excited! 🦋
