Our Leaver’s Party today! We had lots of fun with lots of giggles. The children were amazing - as always - and Mad Magic entertained them brilliantly. It’s always a sad time for us when the children move on, but we know that they’re all super confident and ready for the move to school. Two more days to go though before we finish so we’ll see you soon!
It is our bags to schools collection this Friday. Please bring bagged up unwanted clothes by 9am on Friday

Snail and Tortoise Day was amazing! 🐢🐌Thank you so much for bringing in so many snails today - we know they weren’t easy to find!! The children have loved holding them, using magnifying glasses and drawing them. Best of all though was the snail race!
Crumpet the tortoise coped well with all the attention today and everyone loved seeing him escape from his tray! We found out that he doesn’t have teeth and he’s not a dinosaur but a reptile….We made tortoise shells to wear on our backs and loved crawling in the garden and hiding inside them.

It’s been an ice cream sort of day today! Lots of fun and lots of outdoor play. Have a lovely half term holiday and we’ll see you all on June 5th. ☀️🍦🥰

We ended last week with one of our favourite stories - Shark in the Park. We posted alphabet fish into the shark’s mouth, made shark fin hats, telescopes, sorted sea creatures and painted sharks in the water. Our favourite bit though,was “swimming”in the sea and being caught by Pip pretending to be a shark…..🦈🦈🦈 Happy days!!! 😀

Our Coronation Party!! 🎉🥳👑🇬🇧We played musical chairs, musical bumps and pass the parcel. We hunted for treasure in the garden, enjoyed party food and loved receiving our special medals at the end. We hope you enjoy the celebrations this weekend as much as we did yesterday. See you all next week when we’ll be thinking about fairies and unicorns 🦄🧚♀️

Lots of lovely activities to finish our week of The Very Hungry Caterpillar🐛🦋🍎🍐🍓🍊
We made fruit kebabs, shopped for fruit and vegetables, made finger puppet butterflies and thought about it’s life cycle- with the help of some pasta!!! We painted and painted and painted…. to make our new display for the wall. The butterfly might be dry by next week!

What a brilliant day we have had and the weather was kind. Thankyou to Co op funeral who kindly donated an easter hamper which we raffled at the tractor run. We hope the children all enjoyed seeing the big collection of tractors. They definatley enjoyed having a sit on them.
Thankyou to everyone who joined us at the Driffield tractor run. We raised an AMAZING £3091.66
This will be shared with the firefighter charity xx

We’ve had an exciting week watching our chicks hatch. We have nine healthy ones now - 5 girls and 4 boys! 🐣🐥
We’re looking forward to holding them next week when they’re a little bit stronger and can’t wait to see how well they grow. There’s been lots of craft activities to keep us busy too - cutting, painting, sticking and learning about the life cycle of a chicken….🐓🐔🐣🐥🐓

We built walls for Humpty, knocked them down and built them up again!! 👷♀️👷♂️

It’s been a busy week with lots of different things to do! We’ve had a go at woodwork🔨🪚🪛, dentistry 🪥🦷 and kite making🪁!! Our playroom has had a facelift too and is looking lovely! See you all next week, have a great weekend!

We’ve had a day of pizza 🍕and the three little pigs!! 🐷We made our own pizza which was yummy and then read the story of the 3 little pigs. We built their houses and then acted out the story. Pip was the scary wolf 🐺but we all escaped to the brick house - phew!! Hope there’s no wolf stew for tea tonight! Have a lovely weekend - we’ll see you all on Monday for a week of pets.🐶🐈🐟
