This one means a lot.
When we first opened Downpatrick MMA, a cage like this felt a long way away. We started with a space, a few mats and a belief that we could build something special here.
Now, seeing a UFC Apex size cage coming into the gym feels like another massive step forward.
It’s more than just a new piece of equipment. It’s a sign of how far the gym has come, how much the team has grown, and what we’re continuing to build together.
Every person who has walked through the doors, trained with us, competed for us, supported us or simply believed in what we’re doing has played a part in this.
Still a long way to go, but moments like this make you stop and appreciate the journey.
