🎶🎨 Celebrating 35 Years of Arts Care! 🎨🎶
A fantastic evening celebrating 35 years of Arts Care at a special anniversary concert on Friday night!
It was wonderful to see such amazing artwork on display, alongside a truly beautiful programme of performances. The evening featured stunning dancing from the United in Motion Dance Troupe, music from the Arts Care Quartet, and, of course, our very own Gerard Smyth, accompanied by his brother Christopher and the Irish Doctors Orchestra. 🎻✨
We were also delighted to see one of our very own BOG members, Kirsten Killen, performing on the viola!
Congratulations to Arts Care on this wonderful milestone 👏

Careers in Tech with Liberty IT 🧑‍💻💻

Today our Year 14 BTEC ICT students welcomed the team from Liberty IT for a careers panel, as part of the Software NI Industry–School Partnership programme.
Berni Greer (Engineering Manager), Steven Hendron (Product Owner), Fynn Bryson (Apprentice Software Engineer) and Emma Louise Bonner (Associate Software Engineer) gave students a real insight into life in the tech industry. They talked about their roles, their backgrounds, the different routes into the sector, and the skills and qualities employers look for.
Their advice was very well timed, as our students continue to prepare UCAS and apprenticeship applications.
We were delighted to host the team, and we look forward to working with Liberty IT throughout the year. A huge thank you to everyone involved! 🙌 Liberty IT - Tech Innovation & Careers
