Following this, tutoring is paid for in blocks of 4 sessions and payments are made in advance and paid by the 1st of each month. If no payment has been made prior to this date and time of the scheduled session, no tuition will take place. Unarranged Absences:
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for unarranged absences such as sickness. As a small business, if 24 hours' notice is not given, w
e are unable to offer a refund or to credit the session. Arranged Absences (such as holiday):
For planned holidays (by either party), 2 weeks notice is required and this will not be charged; the payment will be credited to the following month. In the case of tutor sickness, I will reschedule the tutoring session. If this is not possible, the session will be credited to the following month. Safeguarding:
I have undertaken regular safeguarding courses with the NSPCC and I have a portable enhanced DBS check. HB Tuition will continue to operate on bank holidays and during school holidays.
