"Its great fun and every day is different. The more that you do the more confident you become and the more that you enjoy it. It hard at times but I think it is well worth it." 👷‍♂️💡

Callum is a Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Apprentice. He began as a full-time student at EKC Dover College and later secured an apprenticeship with ESS, a plumbing company focused on sustainable energy.

He is interested in specialising in air source heat pumps and unvented hot water systems, believing these technologies are the future of plumbing. He has seen the benefits of an apprenticeship programme and hopes to one day work with an young Apprentice himself as he is passionate about investing in the plumbing trade.

Our Students' Union have been raising funds for charity this week with their Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning. ☕🍰

Thanks to their efforts selling treats such as carrot cake, swiss roll, brewed coffee and more, they've collected over £75. 🎉

He’s now expanding his expertise with our Level 3 Electrical Installation course, studied part-time during the day.
