🏳️‍🌈 To support Pride Month we're going to be celebrating recent successes within the LQBTQ+ community!

First up is the incredible Qween Jean who just this week won the Tony award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for 'Cats: The Jellicle Ball,' a new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Cats' musical. She is the FIRST openly trans winner of a Tony award, what a way to kick off Pride month! She was actually nominated for BOTH 'Liberation' and 'Cats: The Jellicle Ball', two Broadway shows that she designed for. We can't wait to see what she does next!

🎭 This year's biggest FREE musical theatre concert WEST END LIVE has announced some of the performances for their 2026 event! If you get the chance get down to Trafalgar Square in London June 20th/21st to experience it for yourself! If not, their social media channels will show clips of all of the shows! 🎭

June is the month that is known for celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, but not the only month that they exist. We believe here at Beddow Academy Studios in championing, supporting and encouraging our students to be their most authentic selves every week, in every session and every class. For June we celebrate, but not forget the struggle and hardship this community can face every day.
