Calling all local pre-school children aged 3+ to join us at Lydden Primary School for a fun-filled morning taking part in activities inspired by the story, 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'.

There will be bear themed crafts, sensory play and exploration and a chance to meet our bears.

Fuji and Sugarloaf class are enjoying their day at our Samphire Hoe 🐦‍⬛🪶

They have taken part in a safari and identified birds, looked for minibeast and are now collecting flora to make a Samphire Hoe perfume 😊

Linked to Deaf Awareness Week, we are incredibly proud of one of our pupils Penelope, who confidently delivered a whole-school assembly to help raise awareness and understanding of the deaf community.

Penelope spoke brilliantly about communication, inclusion, and the importance of British Sign Language, inspiring both pupils and staff alike. It was wonderful to see such confidence, passion, and leadership on display.

A huge well done for taking the time to plan and deliver such a great assembly 💙👏

We are so excited to share a little sneak peek of our brand new classroom as it starts to come to life! ✨🏫

The children loved visiting the work in progress and watching all the exciting changes happening around them. From peeking at the new walls and windows to imagining where they will play, learn, and create, it was wonderful to see their excitement grow.

Our new space is being carefully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence, and we can’t wait to welcome the children into their finished classroom very soon.

A huge well done to all of our Year 1 and Year 2 children who took part in the football tournament at Dover Christchurch this afternoon! ⚽👏

The children showed fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, and we are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school. It was wonderful to see their confidence and enthusiasm grow with every match!

A big thank you also goes to our parents and carers for your continued support, especially with transport to and from the event. Your help makes opportunities like this possible and is greatly appreciated.
