Morpurgo class dedicated their Languages day to learning about China. Their activities included learning about the different languages spoken there, and children learnt how to pronounce and write their names in Mandarin Chinese. They also learnt a bit about Chinese culture and made Chinese lanterns. A HUGE thank you to Golden Kitchen Chinese Takeaway in Elvington,Dover who donated fortune cookies for all of the children in the class. We had great fun cracking them open and discovering our fortunes.

We were blown away with the effort put in by our children and their adults for our Languages day.

A reminder that tomorrow (Thursday) we will be celebrating Languages Day. Children are invited to come into school wearing some traditional clothing from another nation or the colours of a world flag.
