Dove Chicks

Hope you’ve all enjoyed a lovely summer break ☀️. We have missed you and are looking forward to catching up with everyone.
Dove Chicks returns on Monday 7th September.
We are open from 9.15am until 11.30am.
A reminder that these sessions are for preschool children. We do also ask if your child is not well enough to attend any other setting that day, to not bring them to Dove Chicks as we have a duty of care to protect other babies, children, parents, carers and volunteers at all times.

Our last session of this term today! Sing songs, nursery rhymes, teddy bears picnic, birthday cake, and goodbyes. We said “goodbye” to Ernie, Edward, Ava, Edith and Hetty, as they move on to nurseries, school, and pre-schools. As always, we are hugely privileged to have made some really special memories with each of them. We are always sad to see them go, but happy we have shared those special times with them. We always feel really sad to see parents, grandparents and carers go too:- do remember you are always welcome to join us for a cuppa anytime. Here are some photos of our very busy morning x

Our last session this term at Dove Chicks will be tomorrow, Monday 20th July. During this session, we will be saying “goodbye” to children who will leave us to start school, preschool or nursery.
Please bring a teddy bear and a picnic rug as we are having a teddy bears indoor picnic, food provided by Dove Chicks. Thankyou 🐥 x

Lovely morning painting sunshine and flowers today! ☀️ 🌻
We have just two more seasons left until we break up for summer. On 20th July which is our last session, we will have a Teddy Bear’s picnic. Bring a picnic rug and your favourite teddy and we will eat our snacks as a picnic 🧺.
We will also be saying “goodbye and good luck” to the children that leave us for school and nursery this time, so a time to reflect and celebrate their time with us. Before we break up, please remember to put a favourite memory from Dove Chicks on our memory tree🫶x

We are painting at Dove Chicks today, so please bring children in older clothes if they want to join in with paint! We do have painting aprons available too of course 😊x

Hi all, so sorry but we have made the decision to close Dove Chicks again on Monday. We haven’t taken this decision lightly, but we have a close family member in hospital at the moment and need to concentrate on family just now.
We hope to be able to open again the following week. Take care and see you all soon x

Due to exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, we are not able to open for Dove Chicks tomorrow. So sorry for the short notice, but we hope to see you all next week. Lisa x
