The outcomes from the first junior jewellery introduction 3 morning course 👏👏🙌🙌🤩🤩
I put the participants (all aged 13) in charge of creative direction, for their photo shoot, utilising found objects from my cabinet of curiosities. I now feel I may need to employ them for all future photo shoots!! 😁😍😍😍

Stone setting workshop today… they went BIG 😁 🩷 Maxine set a stunning banded fluorite cabochon from Kernowcraft | Jewellery Making Supplies with a hammered back plate and hammered band, Edie set a repurposed chatoyant moonstone (we think!) with hammered band and slightly oversized back plate, and Ellie set a beautiful banded blue agate from Kernowcraft | Jewellery Making Supplies (the photos don’t do this stone justice!) with slightly oversized backplate and silver tube jump ring 🩷 fabulous work all round 👏🤩 and accompanied by the most delicious cakes from Bramble Hill Cafe (sadly no photos as we were too busy devouring them! 😋)

Junior Jewellery Introduction (⭐️AGES 11-16 years⭐️) at Coda Music and Arts Trust, Walkford, Christchurch

July course now full, August dates available 🩷

Learn how to design and texture copper and silver to make a range of samples as well as a finished silver ring 🩷.
Learn safe use of jewellery making tools whilst gaining confidence in expressing your own style. Encourages problem solving and patience as well as boosting creativity and fine motor skills. Participants take home their own jewellery to keep or gift 🤩

Suitable for complete beginners, participants will be given guidance all the way through from initial design, to making and finishing.

Limited to 4 places per course to allow for plenty of individual attention.
