’Twas the night before Christmas at nursery, how bright,
At Twynham House and The Clock House, a magical sight.
The rooms were all cosy, with sparkle and cheer,
As memories of festive fun linger so near.

We wriggled and giggled to music with glee,
At Jiggy Wrigglers and Twinkle Toes, for all to see!
Little feet twirled, hands clapped in time,
As laughter and joy filled each moment sublime.

Our hearts felt so full as we kindly gave back,
With reverse advent calendars carefully packed.
For Lymington, Christchurch - food banks we hold dear,
Teaching kindness and sharing at this time of year.

We cuddled up close for festive films bright,
At our Christmas cinema, with pure delight.
With popcorn and jumpers and eyes shining wide,
We watched Christmas magic play out side by side.

Then who should appear with a twinkle and 'Ho! Ho! Ho!'
But Father Christmas himself, rosy cheeks aglow!
Magical visits, with wonder and cheer,
Creating memories we’ll treasure all year.

Oh, the lunches! Home-cooked, warm, festive, and grand,
And magical parties - the best in the land!
With crackers and dancing and laughter galore,
Christmas joy spilling out of each door.

We visited friends both young and some old,
At Belmore Lodge and Stour Road Care Home, hearts full of cheer.
Blenheim Court too, where carols rang clear,
Sharing songs, smiles, and Christmas joy to all who were near.

Around the nursery tree, our voices rang true,
Singing carols together - old favourites and new.
And just when we thought the fun couldn’t grow,
In trotted Pip and Nan… the Christmas goats - what a sight! 🐐✨

This year has been busy, from start to the end,
With fun and with memories we’ll cherish again.
We waved school leavers off on their way,
And welcomed new faces to brighten each day.

Not one but TWO Ofsted inspections - we’re proud as can be,
Fantastic results for all eyes to see.
Through it all, one thing stayed steady and true,
Our wonderful team - what would we do without you?

So this Christmas Eve, we say thank you with love,
To our nursery family - constants below and stars up above.
Always ready to teach, to cuddle, to play,
With smiles that light up each and every day.

So from our house to yours, with hearts warm and bright,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night! 🎄✨

Our Seafarers really know how to live the ‘good life’ - frolics in the park, railway snacktimes and a little yoga & spa to see in the weekend. Gosh it’s good to be three! ✨

Seafarers Sail Away: Our Class of 2025 ⛵️

A day full of happy smiles, a few watery eyes, and so many memories. We are here to celebrate you – our amazing Seafarer crew – as you sail off from the cosy harbour of Twynham House and set course for your new adventure at “Big School.”

Most of you have been with us since you were tiny babies – when your legs were shorter, your voices were smaller, and you could fit in our arms so easily. We’ve watched you grow into strong, confident, curious little people. We’ve shared so many firsts—first words, first foods, first drawings, first songs you sang at the top of your lungs. But never first steps – because they always happen at home!

As the years have passed, we have had thousands of adventures with each other:

⭐️ We’ve built towers taller than we thought possible – and learned that sometimes they fall, and that’s okay, because we can always build them again.
⭐️ We’ve painted masterpieces—sometimes on paper, sometimes on the table, sometimes on each other! We’ve shared songs, dances, and giggles.
⭐️ We’ve been pirates, mermaids, astronauts, chefs, scientists, and superheroes—sometimes all in the same day!
⭐️ We’ve sung sea silly songs and read funny stories, splashed in puddles, and made friends who we will always remember.

And along the way, we’ve learned some very important lessons that you can pack in your Twynham House rucksack and take wherever you go:

Lesson number…
1. Be Kind: Kindness is like a magic key. It opens hearts and makes friends. Even the smallest act—a smile, a helping hand, a “thank you”—can make someone’s day brighter.
2. Be Brave: Sometimes new things feel a little bit scary—like trying a new food or meeting new people. But being brave doesn’t mean you’re never scared; it means you try anyway. And trying is always how good things begin.
3. Look After Each Other: Just like a good ship needs a good crew, we need each other. Be the person who listens, shares, and helps. When we work together, problems feel smaller.
4. Keep Asking Questions: Questions are like compasses—they help you find your way. “Why?” and “How?” are some of the most important words you’ll ever use. Never stop being curious.
5. Don’t Give Up: Sometimes you won’t get it right the first time. That’s okay! Keep trying—you’re stronger than you think.
6. Celebrate Your Differences: Every Seafarer is different, and that’s what makes our crew amazing. Your voice, your ideas, your smile—they are all special and important.

So, now that you’ve learned all of these important lessons – you are ready to steer your own ships somewhere new. Big School will be full of good friends, fresh adventures, and interesting things to learn. But remember – you will always be a Seafarer at heart.

From all of us who have cared for you, cheered for you, and loved you since you were little – we are so proud of you. Keep your sails high, your eyes on the horizon, and your hearts full of kindness.

Good job Seafarers. Well done and Bon Voyage! 🌟
