Tracy and I would like your opinion. As you will be aware, there is a teachers strike on the 17th October. We will hold a fun yet educational day for KS2 children from 9.00 - 3.00 on that day (venue to be arranged). It will consist of Maths and English activities based around cooking cakes where we weigh and measure, double and halve, make nets of shapes for boxes and design persuasive posters/adverts. Places will be restricted to 20 and we would like to charge £35 per head which will cover the cost of hiring the hall, insurance and resources.
