Mad4Dance

We are performing this Sunday at Christchurch Food Festival. Please come along to the entertainment stage on Christchurch Quay (next to the play park) at 11AM to support our lovely students! 💖

Some of our senior ADP students recently had the fantastic opportunity to take part in Origins Day at Pavilion Dance South West alongside nine other dance companies from across the South West region.

The day provided such a valuable and inspiring experience for our students, giving them the chance to participate in a variety of workshops, take part in Q&A talks focused on injury prevention and dancer wellbeing, and perform in the evening showcase performance.

It was wonderful to see the students fully immerse themselves in every part of the day. Experiences like this are so important in helping young dancers grow not only technically, but also in confidence, knowledge, and creativity.

We were incredibly proud of every student who represented Mad4Dance and ADP. They conducted themselves beautifully throughout the day and delivered a fantastic performance in the evening show.

A huge well done to all involved and a big thank you to Pavillion Dance South West for having us!

Recently, some of our Mad4Dance students had the privilege of performing at Avon View Care Home, and it truly was such a special and heartwarming experience for everybody involved 💜

We were so incredibly proud of all the students who took part. They performed with so much warmth, confidence, kindness and joy, and it was beautiful to see just how much their energy, music and smiling faces meant to the residents at Avon View. The performances brought so much happiness to the room, and many residents were deeply moved and uplifted by the children and young people throughout the afternoon.

One of the loveliest parts of the day was watching our students spend time chatting with the residents afterwards. They showed such compassion, maturity and confidence in their conversations, and represented our Mad4Dance community so beautifully.

It was a memorable day that reminded us just how powerful dance, connection and community can be ✨

We look forward to spending more time with Avon View Residents. If anybody has any suggestions or recommendations for other community opportunities or performances we could get involved with, we would absolutely love to hear them 💜
