This week, they truly outdid themselves with the most fantastic costumes for World Book Day! 📚✨ Their creativity and enthusiasm brought beloved characters to life, sparking joy and imagination in everyone around.

I’m so proud of such an inspiring team that celebrates the magic of reading in such a vibrant way! Keep shining, Happy Feet! 💖🙌

✨ Exciting changes at Happy Feet Wimborne ✨

We’re so pleased to share the beautiful introduction of our brand-new Baby Floor. Over Christmas, Santa and his elves (also known as our wonderful builders!) were very busy creating a calm, natural and spacious environment for our youngest children.

This new space includes a separate dining room and a cozy sleep room — all in keeping with Happy Feet’s warm, traditional feel. It offers our babies the perfect place to feel secure, explore at their own pace and begin discovering the world around them.

And don’t worry… our older children haven’t been left out! They now enjoy:
• Brand-new natural coloured flooring, creating a warm and inviting space
• A children’s kitchen and washing machine
• A new smoothie maker (for those on a “health kick” 🥬😉)
• An old-school phone, so they can ring home and tell you how much fun they’re having!

Outside, the magic continues with a bespoke construction shed, outdoor kitchen and pizza oven, beautifully crafted by Ben’s Wood Den — because at Happy Feet, we love supporting local talent.

Every detail has been carefully chosen to create rich opportunities for learning, imagination and discovery.

A wonderful week of curiosity and discovery for our children.

From experimenting with objects rolling down slides and learning new vocabulary about distance and speed, to sensory play with texture trays, story props and colourful sensory bags for our babies.

The children shared thoughtful conversations while drawing their families, made their own playdough, explored ice and Arctic animals, practised letter sounds through “Silly Soup” (this week’s letter: 😎, and finished the week celebrating National Big Birdwatch Day with homemade binoculars and garden spotting sheets.

Every day brought opportunities to think, talk, explore and learn together. 💛

Our Christmas party at The Nici Bournemouth Friday was a truly special evening dedicated to the heart of Happy Feet ..our amazing team!!!.

Between a delicious three-course meal, a few drinks (or two 👀🥂), and some very enthusiastic dancefloor moves — rhythm optional — the night was all about recognising the passion, commitment and hard work our team brings every single day. You are what makes Happy Feet such a special place, and we couldn’t be prouder of you. 💛

It was also a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come together — the growth, the achievements and the journey we’re on as a team.

Thank you as well to our lovely families for their continued support throughout the year — we truly appreciate it.

🦁🌴 Welcome to the Jungle… Happy Feet style! 🌴🐘



This week, our little explorers have been deep in the jungle—where imagination swings wild and learning hides behind every leaf!



🖐️ They crafted their own swinging monkeys using handprints, made roaring lion faces from plates and feathers to “guard the jungle,” and carefully placed their self-made spiders into web homes.



🧊 Out in the garden, an Ice Age surprise awaited—mysterious frozen cubes revealed hidden jungle animals as little hands explored, melted, and discovered. Cue wide eyes and excited chatter! 🐾



And of course… No jungle would be complete without an elephant!

Thanks to a very special (and surprisingly playful) visitor, Mr. Elephant kindly lent us his trunk for a few games. 🐘😉
