Celc is sad to announce that its year-round programmes based at its centre in Christchurch will not be re-opening following the challenges of the past year. This was a difficult and painful decision to make and is full of sadness after 44 years of welcoming so many thousands of wonderful students from all over the world.
However, we are pleased to say that our fully residential Summer School for juniors (13-16yr-olds) will go ahead in July 2021! This programme is hosted at a college campus 4km from Christchurch. We will do all we can to make it a great success. Covid-secure protocols will be followed closely. https://celcuk.com/celc-summer-school/
We hope and pray that the Celc ethos and mission will stay alive through Celc Summer School. Perhaps other programmes can be introduced in the future.
Through the difficulties brought about by the pandemic, it has been important to uphold Celc’s historic, ethos & values, no matter what. We have refunded all fees to students and to groups that had paid but could not attend their programmes.
Huge thanks must go to the tremendous people that have served on team at Celc through the decades and to those thousands of wonderful students that made it all so worthwhile.
