This week we are thinking about school readiness!

The information this week is not intended to overwhelm you and it will not apply to all children, but we wanted to share some ideas of things you can be thinking about ahead of this important transition time.

June!

We finally got some sun, but it was hot! So we spent some time in the shade of the New Forest - seeing the ponies, climbing trees and making dens.

We also celebrated pride month with a trip to Highcliffe Nursing Home where the children explored a colourful sensory tray with the residents.

We went to our weekly sessions at Highcliffe Toddler Group where we made bee and ladybird pictures which will be displayed in the high street.

We celebrated birthdays, made gifts for Father’s Day, did yoga, watched the ladybird lifecycle, went strawberry picking and we had a very exciting morning when the air ambulance landed nearby!
