Proud to have a first installation at the wonderful RHS Hampton Court running this week. (Rhs Tickets still available)The display is inspired by the roots of the Banyan Tree and is called Floral Roots(hopefully the signage will have been put up by today) see it at stand HC92 and like us if you go!. With covid I could only take one helper and I know there were many who would of liked to help, but please get involved for FF22. So a big thanks to Aaron for all his help and fun yesterday. To Helliwell Flowers Southampton for their help too. Lets hope it helps to put Christchurch on the map for FlowerFest22 18-20June 2022 where we will support the wonderful work of local Cherry tree nursery. Please head to theflowerfest.co.uk website for more info and to get involved and shortly see a video from yesterday ...

This year as FlowerFest has been unable to run, I thought I would put in some voluntary hours at one of our represented charities for FF21/22, Cherry Tree Nursery at Northbourne Bournemouth. So Thursday seems to swiftly comes along and off I trot as a volunteer friend. It is such a lovely nursery with a vast array of perennials, shrubs, trees and bedding. The benefit of working with nature can never be underestimated and the RHS horticulture programme run there to help build self esteem and confidence is a positive step to personal growth for so many. The happy and hardworking team at the cheery Cherry Tree Nursery is where to head for the growing season, from Acers to geraniums, from grow your own veg to grasses there is sure to be something for you. Open from 10-3 tues-sat but Do check their website before visiting, please mention you saw the FlowerFest post if you visit..😉.

As many of you will know FF21 will not run due to the unprecedented year we have all had.
However, FlowerFest is firmly fixed in the Christchurch diary for 18-20 June 2022..its a Sat-Mon!
Please stay in touch.
This event needs your support to grow so this year we will run a FlowerFest Raffle to keep our name alive and support our two local charities Cherry Tree Nursery and Christchurch Community Partnership. (Ofcourse, we will support them in 2022)
FF is calling on our local business community to help by donating a generous FF Raffle prize please. Your contribution & name will help us sell those tickets!. We are being supported by Yellow Buses and Castle cameras.
If you run a local business please help us by donating a prize. Tickets will be on sale to the public from June, with the draw taking place in September at a Cherry Tree Nursery open day.
Please see Theflowerfest.co.uk for latest updates or please call Glenda on 07799641999 asap to make a donation.
We already have some wonderful prizes in store, thankyou to all those loyal supporters who have given prizes already, there are some super prizes to be won. So why not add your business name to help support the future of this local event..thankyou
