Dear Parkfield Community,
With heavy hearts, we share the news that the Parkfield PFA has officially ended in conjunction with the changes at our cherished school. We want to take this moment to express our deep gratitude to everyone who has been part of the PFA team or has contributed to our events.
We acknowledge with great sadness the decline of a school that has held a special place in our lives. While Parkfield may not have been the perfect fit for everyone (as no school is), it was a sanctuary for many students, defined by a wonderful community, fantastic students, and dedicated staff.
We hope the PFA brought joy and positive experiences to our students, helping them create lasting memories at Parkfield. Together, we raised funds for numerous initiatives, including grotto gifts, Easter eggs, books, musical equipment, platinum jubilee mementoes, outdoor play equipment, and more. Each of these contributions has hopefully left a meaningful impact, and we extend our deepest thanks to all who participated.
While the PFA has officially concluded, we want to emphasise that we will continue to support Year 11 students this September in a less formal capacity, led by just one dedicated individual.
As we all move forward, we wish each of you the very best in the next chapter of your lives. May it be filled with happiness and success.
With heartfelt appreciation,
The Parkfield PFA Team

Thank you to everyone who helped create a wonderful Easter celebration for our kids! Despite the unpredictable weather, we still had an Easter scavenger hunt with our Primary students on Wednesday morning. Today, our secondary kids enjoyed sweet treats at the end of the school day.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the parents who devoted their time to provide the sweets and to arrange the Easter hunt.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Tesco for their generous donation of a set of chocolate eggs for KS1. We would also like to express our gratitude to Sainsbury's for providing a Β£30 voucher, which allowed us to bring more tasty options to choose from for our Secondary students.
Lastly, we extend our sincere appreciation to our teachers for their hard work and readiness to support PFA ideas and projects.
We wish you all wonderful Easter holidays!

A massive thank you to Strategic Solutions Financial Services for donating some play equipment to our primary children to make the most of outside playing during break time and a gift voucher to contribute towards converting an area of the playground for secondary into a wellbeing rose garden as inspired by our students. The smiles from our children says it all! Parkfield School

Dear Parkfield Community,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this farewell message as the chair of the Parkfield PFA. As some of you may already know, my daughter has now left Parkfield, and it is time for me to officially step down from my role.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for the incredible support and dedication you have shown to the PFA during my 4.5 years as chair. Together, we have organized and hosted numerous memorable events for our students, including discos, Easter egg hunts, summer and Christmas fairs, Santa's grottos, Halloween scavenger hunts, m***i days, and "sponge the teacher" fundraisers.
Through your generous support, we have been able to finance important resources for the school, such as musical instruments, a playhouse and mud kitchen, covered seating, play equipment, plants, books, grotto gifts, Easter eggs, contributions towards year 6 and 11 proms, and SATs breakfasts, just to name a few.
None of these achievements would have been possible without your unwavering support, dedication, and commitment to the students of Parkfield. Your contributions, whether big or small, have made a significant impact on the educational experience of our children.
As I bid farewell, I want to encourage each and every one of you to continue supporting the PFA as much as you can. The team behind the PFA gives their time voluntarily, solely for the benefit of Parkfield students.
Unfortunately, due to my departure, Parkfield PFA are now short on active, core members. It's unfortunate to inform that due to these unforeseen circumstances, all the events that we had scheduled for this year have been cancelled. As a result, the expected revenue is not coming in, which has left Parkfield PFA with limited finances. This means that Parkfield PFA won't be able to organize any fun events for the students, and also, we won't be able to purchase any additional resources.
This situation is out of the current teams hands but if you can help in anyway please pop a message and get involved. I would hate the sudden removal of my daughter, solely due to another child and her parent, to have such a devastating effect on the school that I loved and it's brilliant students.
I will deeply miss all of you and the wonderful sense of community that exists within the Parkfield PFA. Thank you once again for everything you have done to make my time as chair truly memorable. I wish you all the very best.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Emma OCallaghan
