to one support? I have extensive experience of teaching and leadership across the primary age range having been a classroom teacher for 24 years and senior leader for 13 years. In the last six years I have specialised in teaching and supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including children who attend a specialist setting. Throughout my career I have supported children in my care to thrive by recognising and planning to the unique learning strengths and needs of each child. I am warm and caring in my approach, gently encouraging children to be resilient and positive with their learning, which in turn has led to many children showing increased self-confidence in their abilities. Having a deep understanding of key skills in Reading, Writing and Mathematics; and learning to apply them competently and confidently during the primary years underpins all future learning. In partnership with parents and students, I am able to create personalised session plans that help children make good progress in basic English and /or Mathematics skills and develop depth of knowledge. I am able to support young learners with Special Educational Needs with a multi-sensory, structured approach that builds on emerging skills and celebrates every step of progress. I am able to plan and support children to work towards EHC long and short term outcomes. I am available for tutoring: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4 - 7pm, Monday and Friday from 9.30 - 2.30pm; and Saturday mornings between 9.30 am and midday. Group Booster sessions ( up to three pupils): Key Stage 2 Maths £25 per pupil. Full DBS available on request.
