Did you know that if your attendance is at 90% this is a cause for concern?

90% = 19 days off school in a school year! This means 114 lessons are missed! This can have an impact on peer relationships at school as well as missed learning opportunities.

We help to promote positive attendance with:
🏆Half termly attendance prizes
🏅Additional reward points for 100% week attendance
🎖️100% Week attendance letters shared with families
😎Access to our Senior Attendance Champion, Dave, or Junior Attendance Champion, Nikki, for support.

Every day you show up, you’re investing in your future self. Don’t underestimate the power of attendance 🌳

Please don't forget your spare clothes and shoes for tomorrow's mud run! We will be enjoying a whole school picnic once everyone is cleaned up as part of our end of term celebrations!

Our final celebration is our school fayre running from 10am until midday on Wednesday followed by school closing at 1pm for the summer holidays.

What an exciting couple of days ahead here at The Stable School! 🌳

We are off to Moors Valley and Kingston Lacey this week!

Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately with the right footwear, plenty of water and sun cream 🌞 We will be seeking shaded areas as much as possible but let's be careful for those times we are in the sun!

Looking forward to seeing all of our learners back for a normal school day tomorrow! 🌳

Temperatures are set to remain high over the coming days, please remember:

💧 Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
🧴 Apply sunscreen regularly and seek shade where possible.
👒 Wear appropriate clothing to protect yourself from the sun.
🌊 Take extra care around water and only swim in supervised, designated areas.

Please be aware of our upcoming trips to Moors Valley and the Dorset Adventure Park for our end of term Mud Run and ensure your child has a water bottle with them as well as sun cream and a hat to help stay cool!

Don't forget our summer fayre on the last day of term (22nd July) from 10am - midday! 🌳

We’re proud to share that we achieved our Bronze Rights Respecting Schools Award in January 2025, and we’re now working towards our Silver accreditation. Being a Rights Respecting School means putting children’s rights at the heart of everything we do — in our curriculum, our culture and our daily interactions.

Our journey to Silver is about strengthening pupil voice, building a culture of respect, and making sure every child knows their rights under the UNCRC, from the right to be safe to the right to clean water and the right to play.

We’re excited to continue this journey with our whole school community 🌳
