Tomorrow is our termly parents and carers consultation evening - this is a great opportunity to discuss your child's progress before they finish this year's academic journey! What a rollercoaster journey our Year 11 learners have been on! A huge well done to all of them for the hard work and effort they have put in, especially the last month where we have had lots of exams running!

As part of our send off to them, we are running two activity weeks which kick start on Monday with a trip to Thorpe Park! 🤩

And for the rest of our KS3 and KS4 learners watch this space for some exciting events and trips happening before the end of term!

Welcome back to Summer 2 TSS Families 🌳
We have kick started our first week back with the year 11 exams, and for this coming Friday the return of our DIVE activities which feature some new additions including Cookery and a Beach Walk at Hengistbury Head! We look forward to seeing everyone access a new activity over the term! 🤩

Happy Half Term everyone! We hope all of our Stable School families enjoy a nice break and the sunshine we are due to have!

We have shared with families today details of our upcoming Parents, Carers and Guardians Consultation Evening which will take place on Thursday 18th June from 3.30pm - 6pm 🌳

If you would like to attend, please do reach out to Nikki in the office who can book your preferred slot (first come first served basis!)

Our safeguarding team will also be running a workshop around keeping safe on Social Media and trends on the newest platforms 📱 - these will be offered at 3.30pm and 4.30pm, we hope to see many of our families in attendance!

What started off as a grey day yesterday ended with blue skies and sunshine which was perfect for our Year 9 and Year 10 learners who went on a trip to The Purbecks including Agglestone Rock and Fort Henry!

This morning sees the start of the exams for our Year 11 learners! We are so proud of how hard all of you have worked, now is your chance to really show what you can do, all we ask is you do your best!

Here are some excellent exam tips to remember for the day!

We have had another exciting week at The Stable School! 🌳

KS2 and KS3 learners went to Brockhampton Farm which helped bring to life their learning about careers post school in food and farming whilst linking to their learning of career opportunities they have undertaken in PSHE this academic year!

Our year 10 learners are continuing their transition to The Beach House this week and they will be there full time from next week 🥳

Lastly, some of our year 11s are approaching their first exam which takes place next Thursday for BTEC Sport - please do join us in wishing them the very best of luck 🙏

Yesterday all of our classes participated in an excellent and informative workshop from "2020 Dreams" about va**ng awareness and prevention which included information such as:

- What va**ng is and why it is appealing to young people
- The health risks associated with va**ng and ni****ne addiction
- Understanding peer pressure and marketing tactics
- Strategies for making safe, informed choices

We have received some great feedback from our learners that it was relatable and non judgemental!

Through the rest of the week we have our story writing workshop at Bournemouth University as well as our popular DIVE activities this Friday!

We are delighted to see everyone back after the Easter break and to see our Year 9s beginning their time at our newly named site - The Beach House.

There are quite a few trips coming up this term for our learners so please keep your eyes open on the emails for any permission letters coming out 👀
