GCSE results day was a proud day for The Grange School!

We were delighted to celebrate a strong set of GCSE results, with outcomes improving on last year and reflecting the hard work, resilience and ambition of our students, staff and the unwavering support of our parents and carers.

While we are pleased with the results themselves, what matters most to us is the story behind them. Every grade represents a young person who has worked hard, overcome challenges and made progress during their time with us. At The Grange, we believe success is about helping every student achieve their personal best and preparing them for the next stage of their journey.

As a smaller school, one of our greatest strengths is that we know our students well. We build strong relationships, understand individual needs and provide the support, challenge and opportunities that help every young person thrive. We are especially proud that the gap between disadvantaged students and their peers has narrowed significantly, reflecting our unwavering commitment to inclusion and ensuring every child can succeed.

We couldn't be prouder of our Year 11s and look forward to hearing all about the exciting futures that await them.

School Closure Update

School is closed due to extreme heat and will remain closed tomorrow during the red alert period.

As temperatures remain high, we know many young people may be drawn to local rivers, the harbour and the beach. These environments can present hidden risks, even for confident swimmers. We encourage families to remind children to stay safe, avoid unsupervised water, and make sensible choices.

Take care and keep cool.
