Medal Monday (only a day late 😜)
What a weekend at the T100!
Huge congratulations to Pursuit athletes Vickie Doy & Kate Seabra on getting it done.
Everyone came into this race with a different goal:
🏊 For me, it was the perfect opportunity to sharpen up ahead of Ironman Copenhagen in a few weeks.
🚴 For Kate, it was an incredible performance just a couple of weeks after completing Ironman Austria—showing just how strong consistency and resilience can be.
🔥 And for Vickie… what an achievement! Yesterday was her first ever 100km triathlon. Just 8 months ago she bought her first road bike and started swimming in open water. Before that she’d only completed a winter sprint triathlon. To go from learning to swim 2km in open water to crossing the finish line of a T100 in under a year is something to be incredibly proud of.
The race certainly made us work for it too! Choppy, crowded swim conditions, some challenging road surfaces on the bike, and another warm day meant it wasn’t an easy one—but everyone dug deep and got the job done.
As a coach, there’s nothing better than seeing athletes trust the process, embrace the challenge, and achieve things they once thought impossible.
Onwards to the next one! 💪
