I hope everyone is keeping healthy and safe and enjoying time with their families as, for many of us, we a forced to hit the pause button and consider what we value most dear in these troubling times due to the unprecedented global crisis of COVID-19.
As the last day of Spring Term now ‘officially’ draws to a close after a shock premature closure of schools and our much-loved Tutor Centre on 20th March, I feel strongly that I owe it to you all to let you know the fate of my little tutor company that I have poured my heart and soul into for the last three and a half years.
It is with great sadness that I must tell you that Teacher 121 Ltd (T/A Learn Grow Create) will no longer continue to trade. I am sure I am not the only one in this heart-breaking position and I send strength and empathy to anyone having to go through such an overwhelming and difficult decision, which of course cannot be made lightly.
I thank each and every one of you for your support and kindness over the years and, through the difficult emotions I am facing now, I will be reminded of the pride you made me feel to be working alongside an absolutely fantastic team and such lovely clients. One of my lovely tutors reminded me today of the Dr Seuss quote in the photo and, as we all know, he is the source of all wisdom!
From the hard work and caring attitudes of my wonderful teachers and receptionists (I'm sure you will all join me in a special shout out to Jeanine Karen Eastman who has for a long time given her all to the business with excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills unlike anyone I have ever met!) to the glowing reviews, personal feedback and fast-growing reputation from clients; the business had the best possible start and I thank you all for playing your part.
And for those of you who may not be clients but did something as simple as share, respond, or react to posts on our page, you helped build our community and supported an independent business!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.
Goodbye and take care,
Laura
